Facilities :
The
Olivette Community Center’s office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am –
4:00pm, we have no office hours on Saturday’s or Sunday’s
The
Olivette Community Center is a great place to hold your wedding reception,
birthday party, family reunion, anniversary party, bridal or wedding shower,
business meeting, or any other special event.
The Center has two rooms with full kitchens, six meeting rooms, and a
gymnasium to accommodate a variety of interests. Each room is air-conditioned with individual room temperature
controls.
The
Center utilizes six-foot rectangular tables in all rooms, and has a limited
amount of card and round tables available for use. A piano, TV/VCR, overhead projector, and podium, large and
small screen, portable Bar (unstocked) are also available for rent.
While our center does not provide catering or bar services, we can
recommend someone to you.
Rates:
All
one-time only prices are based on a three (3) hour minimum during the week
(Monday through Thursday 8am to 10pm, Friday’s 8am to 5pm) and a five (5) hour
minimum on the weekend (Friday’s 5pm to 10pm, Saturday’s 11:30am to 12am,
and Sunday’s 9am to 4pm). The
Center may be rented for more hours than the minimum if desired, but not for
less. The Lobby is only available
after 6pm on Saturday’s.
A
non-refundable Rent Deposit of 50% or your Rental Rate is due at the time of
reservation, with the balance of your Rental Rate due thirty- (30) days prior to
your event. There is also an
additional refundable Damage Deposit of One Hundred Fifty Dollar ($150.00) that
is also due thirty- (30) days prior to your event. If your reservation falls within thirty- (30) days of your
event, the entire Rental Fee and Damage Deposit are due at the time of
reservation is wither cash, money order or credit card.
Security
officers are required for all Friday night (5:00 p.m. and later) and Saturday
events. Events such as wedding
receptions and similar celebrations that provides or allows alcoholic beverages.
A security officer application must be filled out and approved at least
thirty (30) days prior to your activity. The
staff of the community center will arrange the security officer. There will be a $100.00 additional charge and any event going
longer than 5 hours will be charged $20.00 for each additional hour.
This fee must be paid in CASH.
Residents
who wish to receive the ten percent (10%) resident discount, must show valid
proof of residency (Occupancy Permit, Olivette Tax Bill, or an Unpaid Utility
Bill) at the time of reservation.
